Membership Information

Thank you for your interest in the Women's Army Corps Veterans' Association-Army Women United. We hope you have read the brief history and purpose of our organization, along with other information furnished.
We added "Army Women United" to our name several years ago, to insure that any woman that has served in the United States Army would know she was welcome as a member.
Please join a Chapter in your area, where you will find a group of welcoming women who also served.
Chapter are listed at the bottom of this page. If you do not live close to a chapter you can join the organization as a Member-at-Large (MAL).
Please take the time to print the application form and complete it, enclose the information necessary for membership and forward to our National Headquarters.

Eligibility for Membership
Eligible for membership in the Women's Army Corps Veterans' Association are those women who can provide evidence that they are:

Women of any era, who provide evidence of honorable service and served, retired from or are serving in the Army, Army National Guard or the U.S. Army Reserve, regardless of rank, may join the Women’s Army Corps Veterans' Association-Army Women United as Regular Members. Women who provide evidence of honorable service and have served, retired from, or are now serving with any branch of the military other than the Army may join as Affiliate Members.

Honorable Discharge/Certificate of Service
DD Form 214 (Report of Separation)
Official Retirement Order
Active Duty - provide a statement from Custodian of personnel records, that service is being performed under Honorable Conditions. (Facsimile of Army Identification Card.)
United States Army Reserve and United States National Guard - provide a statement from Custodian of personnel records, that service is being performed under Honorable Conditions. (Facsimile of Army Identification Card.)
